Do I need a panel upgrade to install an EV charger?
Not always. Many San Diego homes can add a Level 2 charger without an upgrade. We do a load calculation first; if capacity is tight, options like a lower amperage setting or a load-management device can often avoid a full panel replacement.
How long does an EV charger installation take?
Most standard installs are completed in a single day. Longer wire runs, detached garages or panel upgrades can take longer — we'll tell you upfront.
